Each first Saturday of the month, a thematic tour of the ancient burying ground will reveal facets of Plymouth's evolving story over generations. See map of Burial Hill area here. Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. The group formed in 1966 as a Long Beach, California jug band, scored its first charting single in 1967, and embarked on a self-propelled ride through folk, country, rock 'n' roll, pop, blue- grass, and the amalgam now known as "Americana." You receive a prompt. You start a piece. Anything you want! There are no rules. We'll have acrylic paints, markers, collage materials and a variety of other media for you to use. 2. After a set amount of time, you pass your piece to the next person, and someone passes their piece to you! Then you receive a new prompt, and you get to continue however you want. There's no rules and no expectations! 3. Eventually you'll end up with the piece you started, but it will probably be totally unrecognizable from your original vision. The results will be unexpected, probably hilarious and potentially awesome!Remember, this is an experimental class and there are no rules and no expectations. You may not love the piece you end up with. But you will have fun!
